FAQ
Is handing you an API token safe?
EdgeCon only accepts read-only tokens — if a token has any write scope, connecting fails with an explanation of what to remove. Tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-GCM using a per-user key, and you can revoke the token on your platform’s side at any time. A self-hosted option is on the roadmap for teams that want tokens to never leave their infrastructure.
Which platforms are supported?
Cloudflare first: Workers, KV, D1, R2, Queues, Workers AI, Pages, and Cron Triggers. Vercel (spend and usage) lands at launch. Netlify and Fly.io are under consideration — waitlist members vote on what’s next.
How is this different from the Cloudflare dashboard?
The Cloudflare dashboard is per-account and per-product: there’s no cross-account rollup unless you’re on Enterprise with Organizations, no month-end cost forecast, and no missed-run detection for Cron Triggers. EdgeCon adds the layer above — across every account you have, on any plan, plus Vercel.
When does it launch?
Private beta is targeted for roughly eight weeks after validation wraps. Waitlist members get access in order of signup — Pro early-access requests are prioritized.
Will there always be a free plan?
Yes. One connected account with daily refresh stays free — that’s most side projects covered, forever.
